Hi, welcome to Lakeland and Border - Antiques and Collectables.
We're new to the Antiques trade and as such our stock tends to be fresh to the market. Having spent years collecting and researching antiques, we've followed the inevitable path to passing on the passion (possible addiction) of possessing and enjoying Antiques.
Antiques can be functional as well as decorative. Any home can accomodate an Antique or a quirky Vintage item. They can blend in seemlessly or be used in a contemporary setting to provide a striking statement, or at the very least an inspirational talking point.
We pride ourselves with the honesty and integrity , with which we conduct ourselves .
Our ethos is to encourage others to become as passionate with and enjoy as much as we do the field of Antiques, Collectables and Vintage items.
One particular passion is Cast Iron antiques, particularly those produced by the world famous Coalbrookdale Foundry - the fathers of the industry. We also have an extensive stock of items by other reputible 19th Century Foundries.
On the Vintage / Steampunk front there's great deal to be said of the interesting and quirky side of things.
If you require any additional photos we will be pleased to supply them, and private viewings can be arranged. This is not a limitless offer, but the longer and deeper our relationship developes the more, time we can invest, to achieve the desired outcome..

We do try to be fair on pricing, but we are open to sensible offers.

Shipping :
Where the price stated includes delivery within the UK, additional purchases at the same time, will be delivered together. This will result in a price reduction, please email for details. UK Delivery is usually undertaken personally, to ensure safety of your purchase, this does however take time. Couriers may be used on occassion, with tracking and insurance.
Collections are preffered, but we can and do deliver. The cost of delivery will vary depending upon individual items, but where there is a signifcant chance of damage during transit we will deliver ourselves, to ensure the item arrives at your home, in the same condition as it left our premises.

Also note that all stock is not shown online, we will be pleased to advise on such stock.
